Leicester City’s latest signing, Caleb Okoli, is reportedly trying to persuade Matias Soulé to join him at the King Power Stadium. However, the Foxes have not yet met Juventus‘ asking price for the winger.
Leicester City is keenly interested in acquiring Juventus winger Soulé, with reports indicating that they are close to making a formal offer to the Italian club.
According to Tuttosport, Okoli, who recently joined Leicester City, has been in contact with Soulé to outline the club’s ambitious plans and convince him to make the move to the Foxes.
The two players, Okoli and Soulé, were loaned to Frosinone last season.
Reports suggest that Leicester City is prepared to offer Juventus €25 million plus €5 million in add-ons for Soulé. However, Juventus is holding out for offers in the range of €35 million to €40 million for the Argentinean winger, who netted 11 league goals last season.
Additionally, the proposed contract for the 21-year-old is €3 million per year for the next five seasons.
Soulé has already begun pre-season training with Juventus, and fans of the Bianconeri are encouraging him to stay at the Allianz Stadium beyond the summer.
