Nottingham Forest has initiated discussions with Fiorentina regarding the potential transfer of defender Nikola Milenkovic, according to reports. Fiorentina, under coach Raffaele Palladino, have been active in the summer transfer market, signing Moise Kean from Juventus and working on finalizing a deal for Nicolas Valentini from Boca Juniors.
Milenkovic, who has attracted interest from clubs like Inter, West Ham, and Juventus in the past, continues to impress at Fiorentina. After being with the club since July 2017, he may be considering a new challenge.
Nottingham Forest is keen on Milenkovic, with Gianluca Di Marzio reporting that talks have begun with Fiorentina to explore the possibility of a transfer for the 26-year-old Serbian center back. Milenkovic, who played nearly 4000 minutes for Fiorentina last season, is under contract with the club until June 2027.
