Adrien Rabiot has turned down Juventus’ final contract offer, paving the way for discussions with other clubs such as Liverpool, Manchester United, Newcastle United, Milan, and Napoli. The French midfielder had previously let his contract expire last summer before signing a new one-year deal, with Juventus hoping for a similar outcome in 2024. However, the club’s offer of €7m per season plus €1m in add-ons was rejected by Rabiot following the conclusion of EURO 2024. A formal announcement of his decision is expected on Thursday.
At 29 years old, Rabiot is now set to enter negotiations with several interested clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester United, Newcastle United, Milan, and Napoli under Antonio Conte. He is reportedly seeking wages of €9m per season, a figure that may be challenging to attain in Serie A but more feasible in the Premier League. A product of Paris Saint-Germain’s youth academy, Rabiot joined Juventus as a free agent in 2019 and leaves after 212 competitive appearances, scoring 22 goals and providing 15 assists. During his time at Juventus, he secured one Scudetto, one Supercoppa Italiana, and two Coppa Italia titles.
