Soulé chooses Roma over Leicester City despite higher offer

IF24 Desk

Matias Soulé has made it clear to Leicester City and Juventus that his heart is set on joining Roma, despite the fact that the Premier League team is offering a higher bid. This information has been confirmed by various sources including Sky Sport Italia, Sportitalia, and Argentine transfer expert Cesar Luis Merlo.

According to reports, Soulé and his agent reiterated their stance today that the amount of money offered by Leicester City or any other club does not matter to them. While Juventus understands their decision, they are hoping Roma will increase their offer from €28m to at least €30m.

Soulé is adamant about his desire to join Roma, believing it to be the best move for his career after consulting with coach Daniele De Rossi, as well as fellow Argentinian players Paulo Dybala and Leandro Paredes. His decision is not based on financial gain or ambition, but rather on the sporting project and the lifestyle he envisions in Rome.

Having spent the previous season on loan at Frosinone, located on the outskirts of Rome, Soulé is familiar with the city and its surroundings. The 21-year-old right-sided winger has also attracted interest from West Ham United and Aston Villa this summer.
