Fiorentina secured a 4-0 victory over Reggiana in a pre-season friendly, with Moise Kean scoring his first goal for the club, alongside Riccardo Sottil and a brace from Christian Kouame.
Under the guidance of new coach Raffaele Palladino, Fiorentina have implemented new tactics and welcomed new players to the team. This match was their second pre-season test, having previously faced their own youth team.
Sottil opened the scoring with a well-placed right-foot curler after a slick combination with Fabiano Parisi. Kean, who recently joined Fiorentina from Juventus, wasted no time in making his mark by scoring a goal from the edge of the box, assisted by Sottil, just 14 minutes into his debut.
There were near misses from Michael Kayode and Dodo, with Kayode hitting the crossbar with a header and Dodo striking the upright. Substitute Kouame then took charge in the second half, bagging two goals to seal the victory.
The final scoreline read Fiorentina 4-0 Reggiana, with goals from Sottil (8′), Kean (14′), Kouame (65′, 75′).
The lineup for Fiorentina included Terracciano (Christensen 46); Kayode (Fortini 72), Ranieri, Biraghi; Dodo, Mandragora (Amatucci 72), Bianco, Parisi (Comuzzo 57); Sottil (Ikone 57), Brekalo (Munteanu 72); Kean (Kouame 57).
