AC Milan faces tough competition in the race to sign Youssouf Fofana, with Juventus and Inter now showing interest, according to a recent report. Fofana has long been a target for Milan, with Geoffrey Moncada and Giorgio Furlani seeing him as a key addition to their midfield. Le10Sport, via PianetaMilan, reports that both Juventus and Inter are considering entering the race for Fofana. Juventus had previously inquired about him before signing Khephren Thuram, while Inter is now pursuing him as a new target.
Despite this competition, Milan holds an advantage as they have already reached a verbal agreement with Fofana, who is eager to make the move. However, a deal has not yet been finalized as an agreement with his current club, Ligue 1 side Monaco, is still pending. Sky reports that Milan has increased their offer to Monaco to €12m plus bonuses, but Monaco is holding out for €18m, even though Fofana has only one year remaining on his contract.
