Roma and Juventus are close to finalizing a deal for Argentine midfielder Matias Soulé after two weeks of negotiations. The Giallorossi have agreed to pay Juventus €30 million for the player, with the Bianconeri also retaining a percentage of any future transfer fee. Soulé and his agent, Martin Guastadisegno, were insistent on a move to Roma, turning down an offer from Leicester City. Despite Juventus initially holding out for a higher price, Guastadisegno was able to negotiate a lower fee of €26 million plus bonuses to get the deal across the line.
