Roma outmaneuvers Leicester for Juventus youngster Soule in transfer deal

Matias Soule is set to finalize his move from Juventus to Roma next week, despite Leicester City coming close to securing a deal with Juventus for the talented youngster. However, Soule’s preference for Roma over Leicester City played a significant role in the transfer saga.

Roma successfully negotiated a €30m deal with Juventus for Soule, with €26m paid upfront and an additional €4m in bonuses. The Argentine prospect is expected to sign a five-year contract with Roma at the Stadio Olimpico.

Soule made it clear to Juventus that he was solely interested in joining Roma and had no intention of moving to England at this point in his career. This stance led Juventus to issue an ultimatum to Soule, giving him the choice to accept a reasonable offer or face training with the reserve team.

Despite the pressure, Soule remained steadfast in his desire to join Roma, emphasizing his preference for the Giallorossi over other options.
