Roma strike deal with Juventus for Matias Soulé worth €30m

IF24 Desk

Roma have scheduled the standard pre-transfer medical examinations for Matias Soulé as they aim to finalise the acquisition of the Juventus talent.

The Giallorossi managed to outlast tough competition from Leicester City for the 21 year-old Argentinian attacker, who made a strong impression last season while on loan at Frosinone, scoring 11 goals and providing 3 assists in 39 appearances.

Roma agreed to purchase Soulé from Juventus for €26 million plus €4 million in easily attainable bonuses. The Bianconeri also maintain a 10% sell-on clause in the event of any future transfer out of the Italian capital.

RomaPress.net confirmed Soulé will arrive in the Italian capital on Sunday evening before undergoing his medical examinations the following morning. Upon completion, he’ll put pen to paper on a five-year contract and become the latest acquisition for Daniele De Rossi’s side.
