Juventus and Atalanta have both expressed interest in Fiorentina’s Argentine striker Nico Gonzalez, according to reports. Despite signing a new contract until 2028 and turning down a move to Brighton and Hove Albion last season, Gonzalez’s future at Fiorentina appears uncertain, and he may be open to a transfer.
Recent reports have linked Atalanta with a potential move for Gonzalez, and now Juventus have also reached out to the player’s representatives to inquire about his availability this summer. However, a transfer between Fiorentina and Juventus could prove challenging due to their bitter rivalry, especially following the transfers of Dusan Vlahovic and Federico Chiesa.
The potential cost of the transfer is estimated to be around €30m, which may exceed the financial capabilities of both Atalanta and Juventus. Interestingly, Atalanta could benefit if Juventus successfully acquire Teun Koopmeiners from the Bergamo side.
