Fiorentina is making significant progress in their negotiations for Tanner Tessmann from Venezia and Albert Gudmundsson from Genoa, while Juventus is pushing for Nico Gonzalez. The team, led by new coach Raffaele Palladino, is determined to strengthen their squad after narrowly missing out on silverware in recent years, reaching the Europa Conference League Final twice and the Coppa Italia Final once.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Fiorentina is close to finalizing a deal for Tanner Tessmann from Venezia for a fee of €6m. Negotiations are ongoing with the USMNT star’s agents to iron out personal terms, following a failed move to Inter due to career path disagreements.
Meanwhile, Fiorentina is also leading the race for Albert Gudmundsson from Genoa, who may be loaned out with an obligation to buy for over €20m. Despite previous interest from Juventus and Inter, Fiorentina’s pursuit of Gudmundsson has intensified as Juventus focuses on Nico Gonzalez as an alternative to Karim Adeyemi, who Borussia Dortmund is unwilling to sell.
