Todibo leaning towards Juventus despite lower offer from West Ham

Juventus, Nice, and West Ham are currently in a battle to secure the services of OGC Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo. Reports from France indicate that Juventus has made an offer for Todibo, but it falls short compared to the bid from West Ham United. Despite this, Todibo is set on joining Juventus.

Initially, West Ham proposed a loan deal with a mandatory purchase option totaling around €36m. However, Todibo was not interested as he had already agreed to personal terms with Juventus and is willing to wait for them.

According to Nice-Matin, Juventus has now made their first formal offer for Todibo, which is significantly lower than what West Ham has put on the table. The offer from Juventus is for a loan with an option to buy, but for less money than what West Ham is offering.

Nice and Todibo are both willing to hold out for a better deal, believing that Juventus can make a stronger effort to secure the player. It is noted that Nice acquired Todibo from Barcelona for €8.5m, and he is under contract with the club until June 2027.
