Juventus have reportedly reached an agreement to acquire Nico Gonzalez from Fiorentina for €30m, pending Fiorentina’s acquisition of a replacement player before finalizing the deal.
Nico Gonzalez is close to sealing a move to Juventus from Fiorentina for around €30m.
Italian reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport and Il Corriere dello Sport suggest that the two clubs have come to terms, but Fiorentina is looking to secure the signing of Albert Gudmundsson from Genoa before giving the green light.
Nico has already agreed to personal terms with Juventus and is set to sign a contract worth €3.5m per year.
Club executives Cristiano Giuntoli (Juventus) and Daniele Pradé (Fiorentina) met in Forte dei Marmi (Tuscany) to finalize the agreement. Juventus did not accompany the team to Sweden, where they suffered a 2-0 defeat against Atletico Madrid.
Reports indicate that Juventus and Fiorentina are also in talks for potential additional transfers.
Players like Weston McKennie, Arthur, or Filip Kostic may potentially move from Turin to Florence, but these deals will be separate from Nico’s transfer.
Fiorentina has already secured the signing of Italy international Moise Kean from Juventus earlier this summer.
