Milan defender Pierre Kalulu is set to undergo medical tests with Juventus on Wednesday morning, according to Romeo Agresti’s report. The Frenchman is close to finalizing a transfer to Juventus, with the Bianconeri set to conduct medical examinations on him tomorrow.
After Juventus and Milan agreed on an initial loan deal with an option to buy last week, Kalulu took some time to make a decision about his future at San Siro. It has been confirmed that he is not part of Paulo Fonseca’s plans, leading to his agreement to move to Turin.
Kalulu was notably absent from Milan’s squad in their recent Serie A match against Torino, further indicating his imminent departure. Juventus is expected to pay €3.5 million for Kalulu’s one-season loan, with an option to buy him for €14 million plus €3 million in add-ons, along with a 10% sell-on clause.
Having joined Milan from Lyon in a €1.3 million deal in 2020, Kalulu has accumulated 84 Serie A appearances with the Rossoneri. He has scored three goals and was part of the team that clinched the Serie A title in the 2021-22 season.
