Inter Milan Tempting Federico Chiesa with Record-Breaking Wages

IF24 Desk

Inter Milan is reportedly ready to offer an impressive salary to secure the services of Juventus outcast Federico Chiesa. The 26-year-old’s future has been a hot topic this summer, with reports suggesting that Inter Milan is eager to sign him before the transfer window closes.

Chiesa has found himself surplus to requirements at Juventus, with new coach Thiago Motta not seeing him as a good fit for the team’s style of play. Juventus is keen to offload him before he can leave for free next year.

Various reports have linked Chiesa with a move to Inter Milan, with some suggesting that the Nerazzurri could make a move for him this month. According to Catalan newspaper Sport, Inter Milan is willing to offer Chiesa “astronomical” wages to entice him to join the club.

However, Juventus is said to prefer selling Chiesa to a club abroad rather than strengthening a direct rival. The player has also reportedly received offers from Premier League clubs Chelsea and Manchester United.

Barcelona has now entered the race to sign Chiesa, with reports suggesting that they are willing to pay 15 million euros for his services. The Catalan giants see Chiesa as a key target, but they may need to offload some players to make room for his arrival.

Barcelona has faced scrutiny over their transfer dealings in recent years due to Financial Fair Play rules, which could impact their ability to make signings like Chiesa.
