PSG Reportedly Engaged in Talks with Manchester United Regarding Winger, Potential Move to Old Trafford Likely
As the summer transfer window draws to a close, rumors surrounding Jadon Sancho’s potential departure from Manchester United are rampant. Despite speculation linking him to clubs like Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain, one journalist believes a transfer is unlikely.
According to a recent report by The Athletic’s Laurie Whitwell, Sancho has reiterated his desire to leave Manchester United after being omitted from the squad for the Fulham match.
There is conflicting information about PSG’s involvement in the race for Sancho, but it appears that they may not be in contention. Additionally, Sky Sports’ Dharmesh Sheth revealed that Juventus is interested in signing Sancho and is exploring the possibility of a deal.
During a recent episode of Inside Devils, talkSPORT’s Alex Crook shared new insights on the Sancho situation. Despite swirling transfer rumors as the deadline approaches, Crook suggests that Sancho should focus on earning a spot in the first team rather than seeking an exit.
Crook stated, “There were some loose conversations, from what I’m told, with PSG when they first started discussing Ugarte, but it doesn’t really seem to have kicked on. The Chelsea link was immediately dismissed by its sources at Stamford Bridge.”
He added, “Listen, never say never with Chelsea because they’re crazy enough to do some mad business between now and next Friday. But I think at the moment, Sancho should focus on knuckling down, trying to force his way into United’s first-team plans.”
