Former Chelsea and Sassuolo attacker Jeremie Boga could be on his way out of Atalanta in the coming weeks.
The 25 year-old has barely featured this season for La Dea and has fallen greatly down in Gian Piero Gasperini’s pecking order. He’s made only 6 appearances this season, playing a meager 74 minutes.
It’s a shocking fall from grace for the attacker and comes less than one year since he joined Atalanta in a deal that cost the club nearly €25 million in total.
As a result, Tuttomercatoweb reports Atalanta are open to offloading the player next month in the hopes of recouping some of the investment they made for him.
Both Fiorentina and Marseille have expressed interest in acquiring Boga on loan but the French side’s proposal also includes an option to make the move permanent—making their proposal more appealing.
La Viola will have to move quickly and improve their proposal should they hope to win the race for Boga’s signature.
