Milan attacker Rafael Leão addressed a variety topics, including his club future, earlier today during an interview with RDP Africa.
The Portuguese international has drawn considerable interest throughout Europe following his breakout performances last year with the Rossoneri. The club are in talks with the attacker’s representatives regarding a new contract and the sides are expected to meet again after the holiday.
“A transfer abroad? In the future, yes, but now I’m 100% focused on Milan,” Leão stated.
“I’m thinking about Milan and have a contract in place with Milan, which is a top club with a rich history. I really like the city of Milano a lot.”
He added, “Winning (the Scudetto) with Milan was one of the best moments of my life and my career.”
“When I’m at home I watch a lot of football—the Premier League, La Liga, Ligue1, and of course the Portuguese league.”
“The teams I enjoy watching? This year I enjoy watching Arsenal, they’re doing great things.”
