Sitting 9th in the league table, Torino enjoyed a positive first half to their season under the guidance of manager Ivan Jurić.
In his second season with the Granata, Jurić has helped revolutionise the squad after the club narrowly avoided relegation in the 2020/21 season.
As a result, president Urbano Cairo wants to extend the Croatian’s contract and hand him a new deal. His current contract expires in 2024 but Cairo wants to ensure the former Verona boss remains at the helm in Torino along with sporting director Davide Vagnati.
Tuttomercatoweb writes the Granata intend on opening negotiations regarding a new deal in February following next month’s transfer window.
