The agent of Bologna forward Musa Barrow revealed Napoli were very keen on acquiring the 24 year-old before they ultimately finalised a deal for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Luigi Sorrentino, who represents the attacker, detailed the Partenopei’s prior interest in his client before applauding the Rossoblu for the appointment of Thiago Motta.
“Bologna played very well in the victory against Inter,” Sorrentino told Radio Punto Nuovo.
“Musa and his teammates are very satisfied with the victory, this is a strong team. I don’t want to bring bad luck but I’m thrilled with the arrival of Thiago Motta.”
He continued, “Another client of mine, Ebrima Colley, was with him last season at Spezia and raved about him. The Rossoblu have everything needed to take a huge step forward.”
“As for Musa, it’s true Napoli wanted him before the arrival of Kvaratskhelia. I don’t know whether or not they’d still be keen on him but I certainly hope so.”
Finally, “It’d be a dream to have Musa play at a place like Napoli but let me be clear that he’s very happy at Bologna.”
