There’s no doubt most of the big clubs in Serie A are paying attention to the recent success of Sassuolo attacker Armand Laurienté.
After an initial slow start to life in Italy, the Frenchman has tallied 5 goals and 3 assists in his last six games, emerging as the latest young gem to be unearthed by the Neroverdi.
“He’s got a much better understanding of Italian football now,” his agent Roberto Meloni explained to Tuttomercatoweb.
“He’s studying the language and is able to contribute more broadly on the pitch. He still needs a bit more continuity but he’s already scored 7 goals and 6 assists, there’s not much more to say.”
“I think a few factors contributed to his slow start which started with a knee injury in September. It was complicated because he had just arrived but they couldn’t pin-point the issue (in his knee).”
Continuing, “We’re keeping calm and not thinking about the transfer market. There’s been many inquiries but there’s no rush. We’ll evaluate any proposal that comes in.”
“The French national team? Of course it’s a goal of his but he’s not constantly obsessing over it. I think he’ll have a chance but just look at their squad, it’s not simple.”
