Inter are close to locking down one of their cornerstone pieces to a new long-term contract. The Nerazzurri met today at their club offices with Tulio Tinti, the agent of central defender Alessandro Bastoni.
Since returning to the Nerazzurri in 2019, Bastoni quickly established himself as one of Europe’s brightest talents after cementing his place within the team.
Some feared Inter could lose the 24 year-old once his contract expires next June, but his agent has put those worries to bed.
“For Bastoni’s renewal, right now we’re at the final stretch,” Tinti told Tuttomercatoweb.
“We’ll take the next few days to figure out the last pieces correctly but I can state that we’re in the last leg of the negotiations.”
