Former Juventus and Inter boss Antonio Conte is expected to part ways with Tottenham Hotspurs this summer once his contract with the club expires.

According to Sky Sport, Conte hasn’t accepted the club’s proposed contract renewal and asked the situation to be put on hold for the time being.

The belief is Conte will leave the London-based side after the season due to wanting to be closer to his family. The 53 year-old has been struggling in his private life due to the high profile deaths of three of his friends: Gian Piero Ventrone, Gianluca Vialli, Sinisa Mihajlovic.

Conte would reportedly prefer a return to Serie A but he’ll evaluate any and all proposals once the season ends.
