Former Juventus and Inter boss Antonio Conte addressed his coaching future when he briefly met with media members on hand at the “Timone d’Oro” award ceremony in Arezzo this evening.

The 53 year-old was asked about his future plans following his abrupt exit from Tottenham Hotspur in late March after less than 18 months with the club.

“The desire to coach is always there,” Conte admitted. “The passion never fades and when it does I’d have to seriously reflect on whether or not to continue doing this job.”

“Having said that, I’m not on an agonising search to find an open coaching position. Should an important yet serious opportunity arise that interests me then I’d consider it.”

Adding, “This is the case for roles in both Italy and abroad.”
