Atalanta director Luca Percassi has emphasized that there have been no developments in the situation involving Teun Koopmeiners, as Juventus has not come close to meeting the player’s valuation.

Koopmeiners, who had an outstanding season leading Atalanta to Europa League victory and the Coppa Italia Final, has attracted significant interest in the transfer market. The 26-year-old midfielder played a crucial role in the team’s success, scoring 15 goals and providing seven assists in 51 games.

Despite reports suggesting that Koopmeiners has already agreed to personal terms with Juventus, the club’s initial offer of €45m was rejected by Atalanta, who are holding out for a fee closer to €60m.

During a press conference to introduce new signing Nicolò Zaniolo, Director Percassi addressed the ongoing situation with Koopmeiners, stating, “He is still here, just like the other days. Nothing has changed.”

It has been reported that while Koopmeiners is keen on a move to Juventus, he is not willing to force a transfer if Atalanta does not accept the offer.
