Ruslan Malinovskyi is set to finalise his transfer from Atalanta to Marseille today.
The Ukrainian and his agent, Sergiy Serebrennikov, are scheduled to fly to France today for the 29 year-old to undergo his medical examinations with the Ligue 1 outfit. La Dea will earn roughly €14 million from the sale, ending Malinovskyi’s three-and-a-half year stint with the club.
Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini addressed the situation earlier today during his pre-match press conference before his side take on Bologna tomorrow.
“Negotiations are ongoing, I’m not sure if the deal will go through,” he said.
“He had an important value and played a lot last season. However, this year he was replaced with another like Adele Lookman.”
