Barcelona forward Memphis Depay is expected to be on the move this month with the Spanish club hoping to avoid losing him for free this summer.
The Dutchman has barely featured for the La Liga giants this season and he’s keen to secure a transfer in the coming weeks before the window shuts.
One of the clubs most heavily linked in recent months with the ex-Manchester United man is Roma. The Giallorossi are keen on reuniting Depay with former Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho, however, the capital club need to sell before finalising any deal.
They may be forced to move sooner rather than later as Fabrizio Romano reports Atletico Madrid are very interested in acquiring the Dutchman.
Diego Simeone’s side have already initiated contact with Depay and consider him a viable replacement for departing attacker João Félix.
