After the departure of Luciano Spalletti, Serie A’s defending champions are close to losing another pivotal piece from last season’s title-winning side.

Fabrizio Romano reports Bayern Munich have completed a deal for Napoli defender Kim Min-jae after they officially paid the release clause within his contract late yesterday.

The Partenopei will receive around €50 million for the South Korean international–a significant profit less than one year after they acquired him from Fenerbahce for €18 million. The defender has already undergone his medical examinations with the Bavarian giants and all that’s left is for the clubs to announce the deal.
