Attending his pre-match press conference, Bologna boss Thiago Motta lauded his former manager and current Roma tactician Jose Mourinho.
The Rossoblu resume their campaign on Wednesday when they travel to the Italian capital to face the Giallorossi in what’s expected to be a sold-out Stadio Olimpico.
“We’re feeling good, motivated and prepared to restart the season in a full stadium. It will be a good game to play in front of the crowd,” expressed Motta on Monday.
“I am enthusiastic about getting back on the pitch and experience the emotions you get from an actual game, not a friendly. We’re glad we get the chance to immediately take part in a big match against a competitive team like Roma.”
“As for Mourinho, he’s an incredible guy,” the former midfielder stated.
“I improved a lot under him and won nearly everything. He’s always been very special to me well beyond the normal manager-player dynamic because he’s a fantastic person.”
