With only 18-months remaining on his contract, Bologna are keen to renewal the contract of Argentina international Nicolas Dominguez.
The 24 year-old has been one of the Rossoblu’s most key pieces over the past two season and as a result has attracted the attention of several clubs both in Italy and abroad.
The midfielder’s current deal expires in June 2024 and Bologna want to avoid a situation similar to the one they faced last summer with youngster Mattias Svanberg.
The Swede left the club for Wolfsburg at a cut-rate price since he was in the final year of his contract.
Bologna want to prevent this from happening again and, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, have already scheduled a meeting with the Argentine’s representatives.
The club is prepared to offer Dominguez a new contract until 2026 in addition to an important wage increase.
