Bournemouth are not giving up in their pursuit of Roma attacker Nicolo Zaniolo.

The English side are working to convince the 23 year-old to agree to join the club after they struck an agreement yesterday with the Giallorossi for a permanent transfer.

Sky Sport writes the Cherries met with Zaniolo’s agent, Claudio Vigorelli, throughout the afternoon and into the early evening to discuss the club’s project.

The two sides met for nearly three hours, however, the attacker still isn’t convinced despite the impressive economic offer they presented to him.

Zaniolo asked for additional time to ponder the deal and will give Bournemouth his definitive answer sometime tomorrow.

The capital club have warned the attacker he potentially faces a long spell on the sidelines should he reject Bournemouth’s offer and decide to stay for the remainder of the season.
