Fulham Eyeing Record-Breaking Atalanta Striker El-Bilal Toure
Premier League club Fulham is rumored to be considering a move for Atalanta striker El-Bilal Toure, who made headlines as the club’s most expensive signing ever after his transfer from Almeria last summer.
The Mali international made the switch from LaLiga to Serie A in 2023 for a reported fee of around €30 million. Unfortunately, Toure sustained a serious hamstring injury shortly after joining Atalanta, causing him to miss the first 23 Serie A matches of the 2023-24 season.
Despite the setback, Toure made a strong comeback by scoring on his league debut against Genoa in February. He continued to make appearances, primarily as a substitute, in both Serie A and the Europa League from April onwards.
Recent reports from l’Equipe and TMW suggest that Fulham is keen on securing a deal for Toure. The West London club is reportedly interested in a loan deal with an option to buy, but Atalanta is reluctant to part ways with their record signing under those conditions.
