Former Roma, Milan, and England national team boss Fabio Capello believes Thiago Motta and Paulo Fonseca will encounter similar challenges at their new clubs next season.
Capello, 77, believes the pair will need assistance when they debut with Juventus and Milan, respectively, and hopes each team’s executives help the pair settle at their new homes.
“It’s going to be tough to dethrone Inter,” Capello told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Both sets of supporters are eager to win again, but a new manager always requires a period of adjustment. Though, Thiago and Fonseca will both already know they’ve got to act swiftly.”
Adding, “Specifically at Juventus, Motta needs to introduce a refreshed playing style and approach to games. He’ll also need to rewire the players’ mindset given what we saw this past season.”
