Inter remain locked-in negotiations with Chelsea, intent on bringing Romelu Lukaku back to the club
According to English journalist Ben Jacobs, the Blues have reportedly rejected Inter’s latest offer of €30 million plus bonuses for the Belgian striker. The Premier League side’s asking price for a permanent deal stands at €45 million, a substantial disparity between the two clubs’ valuations.
Additionally, other offers are also on the table for the Belgian, with Inter’s proposal being the lowest. Despite these challenges, both parties will continue discussions in an attempt to reach a resolution before Monday, as the striker is expected to report for Chelsea’s preseason training.
