Sitting bottom of Serie A and the only winless team in Serie A, Cremonese have finally called it quits with 52 year-old manager Massimiliano Alvini.

The Grigiorossi announced Alvini’s dismissal following the team’s 11th defeat of the season, losing 3-2 tonight versus Monza. He leaves the club with an overall record 2 wins (both of which came in the Coppa Italia), 7 draws, and 11 defeats.

Alvini leaves the club barely seven months since his appointment in early June, just one day after he left his post with Serie B side Perugia. It marked his first job in Italy’s top flight.
