Less than a week since his split with Manchester United, former Juventus and Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo is closing in on a big money move to Saudi Arabia.
According to Marca, the 37 year-old is close to putting pen to paper on a deal that would see him join the Saudi Arabian side for two and a half years until 2025.
The Portuguese international’s contract will reportedly earn him a staggering €200 million per season between his wages and various advertising agreements.
Multiple clubs throughout Europe and MLS expressed interest in acquiring the attacker following last week’s mutual contract termination with the Red Devils.
However, no club could come close to matching the lucrative offer presented by Al-Nassr—the club determined to make a huge splash for both marketing and on-the-pitch reasons.
Interestingly, should Ronaldo ultimately sign with the club, he would be managed by former Roma and Lyon boss Rudi Garcia, who spent three years in the Italian capital.
