Milan right back Davide Calabria gave an update on his recovery from a hamstring injury and also weighed in on the team’s first half to the season.
The 26 year-old was limited in the first part of the season after suffering the injury during the Rossoneri’s 3-1 win over Empoli. After three months on the sidelines, Calabria is back in training and will be available once play resumes after the new year.
“I’ve finally recovered from my injury, January is going to be a crucial month for us,” Calabria stated to Sky Sport.
“We’ve got a lot of direct clashes next month and our goal is always the same: to win. Our objective this season is to win the second star even though it’ll be more difficult than last year.”
Finally, “I didn’t expect Napoli to have such an incredible start to the season. The Champions League against Spurs? We can’t wait to face them, we’ll do all we can to advance.”
