Despite his side’s relegation down to Serie B, Frosinone boss Eusebio Di Francesco is set to continue coaching in Serie A next season.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the 54 year-old has two offers on the table from Empoli and Venezia—and he’s currently evaluating both options with his agents, with a decision expected in the coming hours.
Di Francesco met with the Tuscan side, where he spent four seasons as a player, late last night to discuss the opportunity. Meanwhile, newly promoted Venezia entered the fray in recent hours following Paolo Vanoli’s decision to leave as he nears a switch to Torino.
It’s a clear testament to the esteem Di Francesco still has throughout the league despite failing to achieve safety. Nonetheless, he still recorded a respectable tally of 11 wins, 11 draws, and 20 losses this past season with Frosinone.
After an excellent start to their campaign, the team faced numerous setbacks in the final months and were ultimately sent down in the final minutes of the 2023/24 season.
