Matias Soule has arrived at Roma in excellent shape and is poised to make his debut under Daniele De Rossi as the new Serie A season approaches. The 21-year-old Argentine forward received a warm welcome from Roma fans upon his arrival in the Italian capital on Sunday evening, eager to see their new talent in action.
Roma successfully secured Soule from Juventus in a deal valued at €26m plus €4m in additional payments, beating out competition from Leicester City. Soule expressed his desire to play alongside Paulo Dybala and Leandro Paredes, which influenced his decision to join Roma.
Soule underwent medical examinations with Roma on Monday and signed a five-year contract worth approximately €1.8m net per season, with additional bonuses. His impressive physical condition during training at Trigoria has caught the attention of De Rossi, who is considering giving the young forward his debut in the upcoming friendly against Olympiacos on Saturday.
