Veteran striker Edin Dzeko is edging closer to an exit from Serie A after spending the previous nine years with Roma and Inter.

After falling just short in the Champions League final against Manchester City, the Bosnian appears destined for a new adventure once his contract with the Nerazzurri expires on June 30th later this month.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Fenerbahce are in advanced negotiations with the striker, whom they’ve prioritised as their main targets this summer. The two sides are still discussing key details but talks are well underway and progressing positively.

The Turkish giants have long been interested in acquiring the former Wolfsburg man even before he left the Giallorossi in August 2021 and joined Simone Inzaghi’s side.
