Fiorentina captain Cristiano Biraghi dubbed tomorrow’s UEFA Conference League final versus West Ham as “one of the most important games of my career.”
La Viola touched down in Prague earlier today as they prepare to face-off against David Moyes’ side at Eden Arena tomorrow evening.
“This is certainly one of the most important games of my career,” confessed Biraghi during a pre-match press conference.
“A victory would give us the joy and the pride of bringing a trophy to Florence, something that not many players have done for many years. So this is a peculiar game compared to others, certainly more important.”
“I haven ‘t prepared a speech. There will be an incredible mix of emotions and it will be difficult to find the right words but I will be ready to help my team-mates in any possible way.”
Adding, “One thing is sure: we will leave the pitch with no regrets after the final whistle because we will give absolutely everything on the pitch for our fans.”
