The possibility of Jonathan Ikone exiting Fiorentina this summer has increased in likelihood after he received an intriguing contract proposal from abroad.
The French winger has not made the desired impact during his two and a half years in Florence after the Tuscans paid over €15 million to acquire him from Lille. Consequently, La Viola have slowly opened to his potential departure as several clubs have forwarded their desire to sign him.
Tuttomercatoweb reports some of the strongest transfer interest has come from Qatar in the form of Al-Arabi—current club of Marco Verratti. The Doha-based side have reportedly presented Ikone with a lucrative contract offer worth €4 million [net] per season.
So far, Fiorentina has not received an official offer for the attacker, but they’ve set a €10 million price tag for his signature.
