French Forward Anthony Martial Offered to Serie A Giants on Free Transfer

IF24 Desk

Former Manchester United striker Anthony Martial has been offered to Inter Milan and Juventus on a free transfer, as reported by Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb. The 28-year-old Frenchman’s wage demands of €5 million net per season are currently deemed too high for both clubs.

Martial, who previously played for Monaco, is available on a free transfer this summer after his contract with Manchester United expired at the end of June. Despite this, he is yet to secure a new club.

The Frenchman’s representatives have reached out to Inter and Juventus, expressing Martial’s willingness to join either club. Inter, in particular, may be in the market for another forward, as they currently have four senior forwards in their squad, including Lautaro Martinez, Mehdi Taremi, and Marko Arnautovic. There is speculation that Inter may offload Joaquin Correa, creating a potential opening for Martial.

On the other hand, Juventus is in the process of revamping their attack under coach Thiago Motta. However, both clubs are hesitant to meet Martial’s wage demands of €5 million net per season.
