Frosinone have zeroed in on Eusebio Di Francesco for their managerial vacancy after their split with Fabio Grosso.
Giallazzurri technical director Guido Angelozzi has reportedly selected the former Roma boss as the team’s new head coach after the pair met yesterday evening.
Angelozzi and Di Francesco worked together for two years at Sassuolo from 2015 until 2017 and remained close friends in recent years. According to Sky Sport, an agreement was reached between the two sides and will be formalised in the coming hours.
The deal marks Di Francesco’s return to the bench for the first time in 21 months–when he was sacked by Hellas Verona in September 2021 after losing the team’s first three games of the season.
