After falling behind Marco Carnesecchi as first choice goalkeeper, Juan Musso could be on his way out of Atalanta this summer as his future remains far from certain.
The Argentine saw a significant reduction in his role last season which limited him to primarily featuring in La Dea’s European fixtures—including their Europa League final win. However, it’s uncertain if Musso will accept his backup status for a second straight season.
As a result, several clubs have contacted Atalanta to inquire about the shot-stopper’s availability, including Torino and Genoa. The Granata have since backed off, but il Grifone have included the 30 year-old in their list of potential candidates to replace Josep Martinez, who’s nearing a move to Inter.
