After officially bidding farewell to Napoli, Cristiano Giuntoli landed in Torino today to begin his role as the new sporting director of Juventus.
The 51-year-old director successfully finalised his departure from the Partenopei last week after a discussion with president Aurelio De Laurentiis, allowing him to leave a year before his contract’s original end date.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio and La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 51 year-old wasted no time after landing in the city and headed straight to work at the club’s Continassa headquarters, where he met with various senior executives.
Giuntoli agreed to a five-year contract with the Bianconeri, subsequently ending his eight-year stint at Napoli.
