This afternoon, Inter announced they reached an agreement with midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu to prolong his stay at the club. The 29 year-old has signed a new contract that will keep him with the Nerazzurri thru June 2027.
The Turkish international has played pivotal role within Simone Inzaghi’s team since he joined the club from in-city rivals Milan in the summer of 2021. In his two seasons with the team, he’s collected 10 goals and 19 assists in 67 league appearances.
He’s contributed significantly to the team’s recent achievements which include two Coppa Italia trophies, two Supercoppa titles, and reaching the Champions League final this past season.
