Roma unveiled their first transfer of the summer in the form of free agent and former Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar.
The Algerian international penned a five-year deal with the Giallorossi after he decided to leave his boyhood club after nearly 15-years.
“I’m really happy to have signed for Roma, a huge club with a wonderful history,” the 24 year-old told Roma TV in his first official.
“Now I’m giallorosso and I’m ready to get started! I chose the club because it’s the right project. It’s a project with so many top players and a great team.”
“The fans are unique and this really felt like the right club for me. The decision was easy once it became clear how much Roma and (General Manager) Tiago Pinto wanted me.”
