A week after finalising the sale of Andre Onana to Manchester United, Inter are getting closer to acquiring his replacement.
Fabrizio Romano reports the transfer negotiations between the Nerazzurri and Bayern Munich for Yann Sommer are at an advanced stage. The two clubs are wrapping-up a deal that will net the Bavarians a transfer fee worth €5-6 million in total.
The veteran has long been the top choice of Simone Inzaghi’s side and they’re pushing to have the operation completed this weekend. Bayern, meanwhile, have been reluctant to let Sommer join Inter because Manuel Neuer has yet to return to full training after a horrific ski injury in January.
