Inter are getting closer to yet another transfer market reinforcement, this time in the form of Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard.
Nerazzurri boss Simone Inzaghi confirmed earlier today the France international “is a concrete objective” for the club but it still remains to be seen whether or not a deal for him would be reached.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter submitted a fresh bid for the defender worth €25 million plus bonuses—an offer just shy of Bayern’s €30 million asking price.
The two clubs continue to make progress on the negotiations but the Italians are optimistic they’ll eventually land the 27 year-old, who has also drawn interest from Manchester United.
